​Requirements for Church Weddings

  • Call the parish office to schedule an appointment with the pastor.
  • If you and the pastor agree on a date, make a deposit of $100 to reserve the date. (Total $500.00)
  • Pay the balance a month before the ceremony.
  • Provide a recent baptism certificate and a (copy of) first communion and confirmation certificates.
  • Bring three flower arrangements for the day of your ceremony.  These will stay at the church as a gift to the Blessed Sacrament.
  • Let the office know who is going to sing/provide music for your ceremony.
  • Let the office know who is going to be taking pictures and recording your ceremony.
  • When receiving the Body and Blood of Jesus, NO pictures please.
  • Go to confession two or three weeks before your ceremony.  You can go to confession at any Catholic church or here on Saturdays at 4:00 PM.
  • Attend a marriage encounter. (preparation class)
  • Must notify parish office of any changes.
  • It is NOT permitted to throw rice or flower petals in the church.
  • Schedule a final appointment with the pastor a month before your ceremony to make sure everything is ready.
